An Olympic straight barbell is typically 220 cm long and weighs 20 kg. It has a 50 mm sleeve diameter to fit standard Olympic plates. This is the go-to bar for squats, bench presses, deadlifts, and general strength training.
A curl bar (also called an EZ bar) has angled grips that reduce wrist strain during curls and triceps extensions. It’s ideal for arm workouts and more ergonomic than a straight bar for exercises like preacher curls or skull crushers.
Trap bars (hex bars) allow you to stand inside the bar, reducing strain on the lower back. They encourage a more upright posture, making them great for beginners or anyone recovering from back discomfort while still wanting to train heavy.
Yes, we offer 15 kg Olympic bars (201 cm) designed for women or compact spaces. These bars have a thinner grip diameter (25 mm) and are great for CrossFit, technique training, or anyone with smaller hands.
All of our Olympic bars—including straight, curl, and specialty bars—feature 50 mm sleeves and are fully compatible with all Olympic-sized bumper plates, competition plates, and collars available on our site.
Wipe the bar after use to remove chalk, sweat, or moisture. Oil the bushings or bearings occasionally for smooth sleeve rotation. Store your bar horizontally on a rack or vertically in a bar holder—never leaning in corners, especially in Kuwait’s heat.
